In Memory

September 18, 2017

Our hearts are heavy as we pray in the Name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit

            Read John 14:1 – 3

This memorial is for:

            John Briscoe – October 21, 2016

            Ted Hixon – March 29, 2017

            Doris Edwards – April 27, 2017

            Mary Perkinson – June 13, 2017

God has kept his promise to send the rain and sun, the splendor of the seasons, the night when day is done, everything we treasure here on Earth below.

It is given without measure with love, to thrive and grow.  God has also promised that one day we shall see His Kingdom and the Glory For All Eternity.

At the rising of the Sun and its going down – we remember them

At the blowing to the wind and in chill of winter – we remember them

At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of spring – we remember them

At the blueness of the Skies and the warmth of Summer – we remember them

At the rustling of the leaves and the beauty of Autumn – we remember them

At the beginning of the year and when it ends – we remember them

When we are weary and in need of strength – we remember them

When we are lost and sick at heart – we remember them

When we have joys and yearn to share – we remember them

When we have decisions that are difficult to make – we remember them

When we have achievements that are based on theirs – we remember them

As long as we live, they to shall live.  For they are a part of us – we remember them

Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are and the thing you never want to lose.

                        Let us pray

We thank you for the life of John Briscoe, Ted Hixon, Doris Edwards and Mary Perkinson, whom you love and whom we love.

You are the recertification and the life we pray for healing, when all the unhappy feelings, the death of these friends lives in our hearts.

We pray that they will share in the glory of your love for all eternity
